Brian Posehn (born July 6, 1966 in Sacramento, California) is an American actor and comedian, best known for his roles as mail clerk Kevin Liotta on Just Shoot Me! and as a cast member of HBO's Mr. Show.

  • He is 6'-7", but refers to himself as 6'-6.6" in his standup, calling himself "The Height of the Beast".
  • He did the voice of the character Jim Kuback, who is designed after Posehn, in the short lived WB animated series Mission Hill.
  • Graduate of Sonoma Valley High School.
  • He was the voice of Brian in the Star Wars parody PC game Star Warped.
  • Is a self-proclaimed "metal nerd" who also enjoys comic books.
  • Posehn co-wrote the comic book Last Christmas published by Image Comics.
  • Posehn's Just Shoot Me character was related to actor Ray Liotta, who guest starred as himself on the series.

  • Voiced Cousin Larry in the Disney animated series Kim Possible.
  • Voiced one of the marines in Halo 2, along with comedian David Cross.
  • On a 2006 episode of Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Posehn stated that he is often approached by fans who say "You're that one guy from that one show." The fans are usually talking about Just Shoot Me. An incident of this was also shown in The Comedians of Comedy.
