Brian Murray

Brian Murray (born 1937, Johannesburg, South Africa) is an actor who has performed in films, television series, and stage plays. He has received three Tony Award nominations, and the Obie and Drama Desk Awards. He has played the role of Pope Pius IX in productions of Edgardo Mine, a play by Alfred Uhry based on the true story of Edgardo Mortara. He currently resides in New York.
