Brian Engblom

Brian Engblom (b. January 27, 1955 in Winnipeg, Manitoba) is a former Canadian professional ice hockey defenseman.
Brian played collegately at the University of Wisconsin. He played his first NHL game in the 1977 Stanley Cup Playoffs with the Montreal Canadiens. He won three Stanley Cups, in 1977, 1978, and 1979 with the Canadiens before being traded to the Washington Capitals. He finished his career with stints playing with the Buffalo Sabres, Los Angeles Kings, and Calgary Flames. Playing in 11 NHL seasons, Engblom finished in NHL career with 29 goals and 177 assists.
Brian currently does color commentary and in-studio analysis for Versus hockey games.
