Briah is the second highest of the four worlds of Kabalah. (These worlds exist in parallel and describe different aspects of the same reality.) Briah is described as the World of Mind, although this is meant in its purest sense and does not relate to particular functions of the mind such as logic. The Biblical archangels dwell in the realm of Briah.In western occultism it is associated with the suit of Cups in the Tarot. Yetzirah precedes it and Atziluth follows it.
