[edit] Nice work
Hi. Noticed all the new pages that you are creating on birds. Beautiful articles! - Aksi great 13:51, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
Yes, very nice pictures and good articles. Gdr 22:13, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Bird pic size
Great work on the birds, but a few points:
Why are your pics so small? Imagine how superb they will look to the reader at full screen! I know you say hi-res is available from you but why not upload the hi-res? WP likes the largest possible size so that other people can have the best possible copy if they want to use the pic. I upload at full size which, for an unclipped pic from my camera, is 2200 pixels wide and compressed to about 700K in size. Yours are about 300 pixels wide.
Please don't remove pics just because you have a better one (for example in the Masked Lapwing article), put the others either lower down the article or put them in a Gallery as I have done on that article.
Please tell the reader in what country and where in that country each pic was taken, and it's important to know if the bird is in a zoo or in the wild. Thanks for your excellent pictures - Adrian Pingstone 10:28, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Parrot
I think we have to be more bold on this, and do some moving and renaming, which will solve the issue much more robust. --KimvdLinde 21:23, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
True. After I made the edit this morning, I notices that there's already an article for Psittaciformes, so the article about Parrot really should be about the family, Psittacidae. Brett.donald 00:29, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
lovely flickr page, great pics :-)
