From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Dr. Brendan Arthur Raymond Vox (a pseudonym) is a pretentious composer-performer of experimental music, self-proclaimed historian of electronic avant-garde music (electronic art music), and a disciple of John Cage, Erik Satie, Luigi Russolo, Karlheinz Stockhausen, Edgard Varese, and Raymond Scott, among others.
He has been involved with a number of minor musical projects in San Jose, California, including the bands Volvox and the Radium Girls, but he remains most acclaimed for his individual artistic efforts. Not restricting himself to music, Brendan is also a practicing writer, film-maker, sculptor, painter, and actor.
In addition, Dr. Vox is an aspiring Marxist revolutionary and gay rights advocate.
