[edit] History
Brian Kapellusch founded brewerfan.net in May 2001 with a goal to provide an independent view of the Milwaukee Brewers. The site is community driven with articles written by fans for fans. The site has been mentioned on Milwaukee radio stations for stats and articles during Brewer broadcasts.
Jim Callis, executive editor of Baseball America, once referred to Brewerfan.net as "an unbelieveable site". In its 2005 print edition (p. 138), Baseball Prospectus called it "indispensable... one of the best team-specific references on the web" [1]. On April 30, 2006, a thread on the site's Fan Forum was referenced on an ESPN News broadcast [2].
