Brevik is a town in Norway in the municipality of Porsgrunn in the county of Telemark in Norway. Brevik was its own municipality until 1964, when Brevik (together with Eidanger) became a part of Porsgrunn. Brevik is regarded one of the best preserved towns from the sailing ship era. The town is located on the far end of Eidangerhalvøya and was a former export center for ice and wood. Cort Adeler's birth town.

Brevik got its own railroad track in 1895.
