Brett Keisel (born September 19, 1978 in Provo, Utah) is an American Football player who plays defensive end for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Bret hails from Greybull, Wyoming.

He has been with the Steelers for his entire four-year NFL career. He attended Brigham Young University. Brett was the Steelers’ final draft pick in 2002 and was one of the seven draft selections to make the final roster. He was placed on reserve/injured list for the entire 2003-2004 season following shoulder surgery.

Since veteran Kimo von Oelhoffen departed via free agency for the New York Jets in March of 2006, Brett seems poised to take on the starting position at right defensive end. Brett has signed a new four year contract with the Steelers worth a reported 14 million dollars.
