Patrick Leo Brer Hore-Ruthven, Viscount Ruthven of Canberra (born 1964) is the son of the 2nd Earl of Gowrie and heir apparent to the earldom.

Hore-Ruthven attended numerous schools including Westminster School, Albany College, University College School and Brunel. He married an artist, Julie Goldsmith, in 1990. He had one son, Heathcote Patrick Cornelius Hore Ruthven the same year. He is currently separated from his wife and working for Condé Nast Magazines.
