Brenton Bowen (born 21 May 1983 in Cairns, Queensland) is an Australian rugby league player for the North Queensland Cowboys in the National Rugby League competition. His position of choice is Wing. He is the first cousin of Cowboy's fullback Matt Bowen.[1]
[edit] Playing career
Brenton Bowen played junior rugby league with Cairns Brothers (1999) and Abergowrie College (2000) before being signed by the North Queensland Cowboys. Bowen represented Queensland in under-15 and under-17 schoolboys teams and in under-17 and under-19 club-based teams. He made his debut for the Cowboys on 22 March 2003, and is signed under contract until the end of the 2007 National Rugby League season.[2]
