Brent Glass

Brent D. Glass is director of the Smithsonian National Museum of American History (named October, 2002). Glass holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy and History at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1980), a Master's degree from New York University(1971) and a Bachelor's degree from Lafayette College (1969)
Prior to attaining his current Glass was Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania for 15 years (beginning in 1987). Prior to that, he served as Executive Director of the North Carolina Humanities Council.
He is a member of the Flight 93 Memorial Commission. [1]
