Brenda Bouw is a Canadian journalist who has worked in print and broadcast newsrooms across Canada. At present, she is the Chief News Editor at The Vancouver Sun and author of Home Girl: The Single Woman's Guide to Buying Real Estate in Canada (published in January 2007 by John Wiley & Sons Canada).

Before moving to Vancouver in the late summer of 2006, Brenda was the Online Business Editor at The Globe and Mail. She was also the Executive Producer at Report On Business Television and Business Editor at The Hamilton Spectator. As a reporter, Brenda worked on the media and entertainment beat at The National Post. She has also covered city hall for The Edmonton Journal and The Edmonton Sun, and was a general assignment reporter at The Telegraph Journal in New Brunswick.
