Bremanger is a municipality in the county of Sogn og Fjordane, Norway. It consists of the villages Ålfoten, Kalvåg, Svelgen, Rugsund, Davik and Berle. In the district of Bremanger you will find tourist destinations as Kalvåg which has the largest and best-kept waterfront environment in the county, Grotlesanden, the Hornelen cliff, rock carvings at Vingen and the old trading stations of Rugsund and Smørhavn.

During the last couple of years there has been a football project going on in the bremanger area. In the district of Hauge a football field has been bulit, and at talent development school has opened. One of the stars whom has arisen from this school is the know Dundee United striker Stig Kristiansen, who resently scored 23 goals in his first season with Dundee.
