"Breaking Free" is a song from the Disney Channel Original Movie High School Musical. It also appears on the soundtrack of the same name. It is sung by Andrew Seeley (who didn't receive any credit), Zac Efron and Vanessa Anne Hudgens. It was also released as a single on September 28, 2006.

Disney Channel Asia made an Asian version of Breaking Free. In this version, the feel and instruments are Asian. This stars Nikki Gil (from the Philippines), Alicia Pan (from Singapore) and Vince Chong (from Malaysia).

The music video for this song was a clip from the movie/musical High School Musical. It was not released to any video countdowns, because it was the climax song of the movie and Disney did not want it to be released. However, the remix version's video will be released onto the High School Musical Remix Edtion DVD.
