Break Every Rule is a 1986 album by Tina Turner and is the follow up to Tina Turner's first solo album, Private Dancer. It reached #2 in the UK albums chart and produced a number of hit singles world-wide and in the United States. In the U.S, the most successful single was Typical Male which reached the highest position on the Billboard Hot 100 at number two. The album was a great success for Turner, selling over 3 million copies in the U.S alone, and nearly 12 million copies world-wide.
