This article is relatively badly written in my opinion (hey I wrote it, I can say it :)). I also think it's rather redundant in areas but I couldn't think of any other ways to write some of the content. Feel free to change it in any way seen fit.

[edit] Magnetic field reversal

Why should a pole reversal of the Earth's magnetic field affect the local field of magnetic brakes? I think this would be as strange as if all electro motors would refuse to work and all magnets would fall from fridge doors due to temporary vanishing of the Earth's magnetic field. This will, of course, not happen. Or did you mean the complete breakdown of electric supply? Then defective roller coaster brakes would probably be one of the least serious problems to face...--SiriusB 08:40, 29 Apr 2005 (UTC)
