I ain't sure if {{PD-US}} applies to this pic. The person in the picture was just a teenager in 1923. He doesn't look that young in this picture. Is this really PD ? -- 64.229.230.121 15:37, 13 June 2006 (UTC)

James J. Braddock was 18 years old in 1923. He became a professional boxer in 1926, at the age of 21-- meaning he boxed in the smaller circuits well before 1926. This photograph features a very young Braddock, as he did not reach the height of his boxing career until 1935. However, seeing as I cannot irrefutably prove that this photograph was taken of Braddock before the date of January 1, 1923-- I have retagged the image as a promotional photo, which it undeniably is. --ClintFord 13:56, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
