Bravo Telecom is Saudi Arabia and the GCC’s first and only specialized wireless operator offering specialized communications solutions. Built on Motorola’s integrated Digital Enhanced Network (iDEN) platform, Bravo provides instantaneous, cost effective and secure communications through a range of Push to Do and digital cellular services. The system is designed to meet the needs of customers who want multiple services in a single handset, and the quality of advanced digital communications.

Bravo’s Push to do services, which include Push to Talk, make it possible to communicate instantly with one person (one to one) or groups of people (one to many) with the simple push of a button on special iDEN enabled handsets. Push to View allows users to take pictures and send them instantly – to one or many users.

Bravo’s network, is being rolled out in three phases, has already commenced with coverage of the following areas: Mecca, Medina, Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam and Dhahran, including the Mecca–Jeddah highway. The next two phases will see the roll out to more cities and highways resulting in kingdom wide coverage.

Owned by shareholders Nasco, Wataniya International, Ali A. Tamimi Co. and Mr. Sultan Najr Al Otaibi, and operating through a 15 year Build, Operate & Transfer (B.O.T) agreement with Saudi Telecom Company (STC).

It's worthwhile mentioning that Bravo's sister company XPress is currently operating in Jordan, and currently (as of Jan'06) talks are being held to enter other MENA markets such as Dubai, Bahrain & Egypt.
