Brave Belt

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Brave Belt was a Canadian rock band from Winnipeg, Manitoba, consisting of Randy Bachman, his former bandmate, Chad Allan, his brother Rob and Fred Turner. They released two albums for Reprise Records in the early 1970s titled "Brave Belt 1" and "Brave Belt 2." They scored a minor hit with the Chad Allan penned "Dunrobin's Gone." The group included former Guess Who members Chad Allan and Randy Bachman. When Allan left the band in 1971, Brave Belt essentially reformed, with Tim Bachman on guitar, as Bachman-Turner Overdrive with Fred Turner on lead vocals.
