Branksome, County Durham

Branksome is a village in County Durham, in England. It is situated immediately to the north-west of Darlington, close to Mowden, Cockerton, and Faverdale. There is a comprehensive school on Eggleston View, which goes by the name of Branksome School, more commonly known by students as "Branger". Branksome holds quite old houses, and it is an old estate on the whole.
