Brandon Watson

Brandon Watson (born September 30, 1981 in Los Angeles, California) is a center fielder for the Cincinnati Reds. He graduated in 1999 from Westchester High School where he was Honor Roll, MVP of the team and the league, and first team All-State and All-City. During his rookie season in 2005, he hit a .175 average with one home run and five runs batted in. In 2006, Brandon was the opening day center fielder and leadoff hitter for the Washington Nationals.

Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame outfielder Eric Davis is Watson's godfather. Watson's father, Sam, used to coach Davis on a youth basketball team in Los Angeles, California, and the two became friends.
