Brandon Childress
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Brandon "Bam" Childress is a NFL wide receiver for the New England Patriots. He was undrafted out of Ohio State University, but the Patriots signed him to a short term deal and he participated in training camp and played well in preseason, both as a wide receiver and extra defensive back. Because of his hard work and determination to make the team he earned himself a spot on the New England Patriots' practice squad. Activated for the last game of the 2005 season against the Miami Dolphins, he played well in a losing effort, finishing with three catches for thirty two yards. He is a cousin of Denver Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey and Detroit Lions linebacker Boss Bailey. Prior to the Patriots' 2006 season opener, the team released him, signed him to their practice squad, and then activated him again.
