The Brainwave Deck is a type of trick deck similar to the Invisible deck.

The magician asks the spectator to think of a card. After the card is named, the magician removes the deck from its case, fans through the face-down deck, and reveals that the spectator's card is the only face-up card. When the card is removed from the deck, the spectator is shocked to discover that his card has a different colored back than the rest of the deck.
