Brahmastra

Brahmastra (IAST: Brahmāstra, sanskrit: ब्रह्‍मास्‍त्र) is an arrow created by Brahma. One of the deadliest of weapons that a person can possess (as in Hindu Puranas), it is often speculated in the likeness of a nuclear weapon. It is said that when a Brahmastra is used there will be famine on earth and for 12 years there would be no flora and fauna where it was used, unless the weapon is withdrawn properly following the procedure laid down in the scriptures.
