Brad Stuart (born November 6, 1979 in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta) is a professional ice hockey player currently playing for the Boston Bruins.

Stuart was drafted in the 1st round, 3rd overall, in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft by the San Jose Sharks. On 30 November 2005 he was traded along with Marco Sturm and Wayne Primeau from the San Jose Sharks to the Boston Bruins for Joe Thornton. He was playing for the Bruins as of the end of the 2005-06 season.In 1998, scouting reports said that Brad Stuart was a defenseman who had a great booming shot on the point and is very effective on the powerplay. He has an offensive upside to him and can contribute to on-ice rushes by the forwards. He uses his size well at 6ft3in 213 Ibs and does not get rattled at all. Brad Stuart married his wife Melissa Stuart in 2002 and said that above all things that she is the only 'bright spot' in his life. He has a 2-year-old son along with a 10-month-old son.
