Bracken Cave

Bracken Cave is the largest known habitat for Mexican Free-tailed Bats in the world. It is located outside of the city of San Antonio, Texas. Bracken Cave is currently estimated to have a colony of more than 20 Million bats, making it the single largest concentration of mammals in the world. Bracken Cave is a protected area, and access to the cave is restricted to protect the habitat of the bats residing therein.
