Brachipelma klaasi is a theraphosid spider that occurs in Mexico.

The setae of this species have a uniformly rusty appearance. Adults have a body length of about 6 cm.

Named in honor of Peter Klaas, the discoverer of the species. All specimens in human hands are descendants of the two individuals recovered by P. Klaas.
