Brace Paine is an artist, poet, musician and author from Center Hill, Arkansas. His art has been shown in London, New York, Montreal, Portland, Sweden & Arkansas. His "mini novelettes" a.k.a. "warm novelettes" have been reviewed in VICE MAGAZINE, I-d & various other high end publications. His subject matter tends to dwell on the dark & funny side of life. Taking his inspiration from his physically abusive and (in his words) "mostly violent and wantingly forgotten childhood/past" he has been known to be called "the dirtier uneducated Marcel Proust " or "the oversexed and abused Ingmar Bergman". Brace Paine has also published works under the names: Amy Snow, Druxx, T.r. Ash & Raquel Medina-Cleghorn a.k.a. "Slow Jams". Brace Paine also records music under the group/monikers: Die Monitr Batss, XEAXX XEAXX (with noise artist John Wiese), So Soft + The Tests & The Gossip.
