Bozidar Djelic

Bozidar Djelic (Serbian Cyrillic: Божидар Ђелић), (born 01 April 1965 in Belgrade, Serbia) is a financial expert, currently engaged as Credit Agricole SA Group Director for Eastern Europe.
Bozidar Djelic has extensive experience of policy-making and advisory work in transition economies.
From 2001 to 2004 he was the Finance and Economy Minister of Serbia. He led successful sovereign debt negotiations as well as privatization transactions. During his mandate, he was Governor of The EBRD and Deputy Governor of The World Bank.
From 1993 to 2000 he was a Partner with McKinsey&Company, the strategic management consultancy, in the Paris and Silicon Valley Offices, where he specialized in financial institutions and media.
In 1996 he advised the Romanian Prime minister on macroeconomic reform. In 1992-1993 he advised the Russian government on privatization and banking reform, and in 1991-1992 he advised the Polish government on mass privatization and macroeconomic reform.
In October 2004, Bozidar Djelic was nominated as a Global Young Leader by the World Economic Forum (Davos) for the next five years in recognition of his achievements before age 40, and leadership potential. He holds a Harvard Business School MBA, a Kennedy School of Government MPA, an M.A. in economics (EHESS) as well as HEC and IEP diplomas from France.
