Attack of the Twonkies (Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius)

Attack of the Twonkies is an episode of The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, and it is the fifth television movie in it. It was the season premiere of the third and final season.

While investigating the comet Twonkus-3, Jimmy encounters a large red creature. While Jimmy escaped, a much cuter being stows away inside the rocket.

The cute alien kept reproducing by coughing, so everyone in Retroville could have one, but when they heard music, the creatures turn into ugly brown monsters (a parody of the similarly arbitrary rules from the movie Gremlins). Jimmy must save Retroville from these music-hating menaces before they destroy everything... or worse... if the comet leaves orbit and the Twonkies are stuck on Earth for one more year!

In the end, all the Twonkies are sent back to Twonkus-3... except Sheen's Twonkie, Liversnap! It coughed up two more Twonkies, which started their journey around town. This is why Twonkies can be seen in later episodes, even in Mars in the episode King of Mars.

• This episode could be a parody of Gremlins, the Star Trek episode The Trouble With Tribbles, and Critters.
• Ever since this episode, Twonkies have made cameos in several episode of Jimmy Neutron, including King of Mars, Lady Sings the News, The League of Villains, Who Framed Jimmy Neutron?, Flippy, My Big Fat Spy Wedding, and The N-Men.
• Oddly enough, the cliffhanger at the end of the episode will not be continued, as all the Jimmy Neutron episodes have been announced and not one of the confirmed will have Twonkies in the plot.
• The Twonkies bare an uncanny resemblance to the Protopet from Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando (a game that Cindy's voice actor Carolyn Lawrence Starred in), and they both even reproduce the same way (by coughing up a baby Twonkie/Protopet.)
