At the 1904 Summer Olympics, seven boxing events were contested. Only USA boxers competed. The contestants of the lower class could also compete in the higher class. So Oliver Kirk is the one and only boxer who has won two gold medals in the same Olympics. George Finnegan, Harry Spanger and Charles Mayer managed to win one gold and one silver medal and Jack Eagan one silver and one bronze medal. They are unique in olympic boxing history.
