Boulder Glacier

  • Description: Boulder Glacier with the Sherman (left) and Grant (right) Peaks of Mount Baker behind; the unvegetated terrain below the glacier terminus has been newly exposed by its 430 m retreat since 1980. The lighter brown of the freshly exposed surface of the soil is apparent.
