Boundiali

Boundiali is a town in northern Côte d'Ivoire, based on the cotton industry. It is a centre for Senoufo people and is known for crafts. There are also Malinkés coming from Mali, Guinea and Burkina Faso and some Fulas, totalling around 50,000 people.

The writer Ahmadou Kourouma was born in Boundiali.
