Boundary Sound is a local RSL (Restricted Service Licence) radio station run by Boundary Sound Limited in Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire. It broadcasts from studios in the centre of Newark on 87.7MHz for two months in each year and live online throughout the year as of November 1st 2006. It is currently building up support from local people who want a full-time community radio station on FM for the Newark and Southwell area. The Early Breakfast show from 5-7am is presented by Craig Wilkinson followed by Paul Lane with the Breakfast Show between 7 and 10am. The information-based Talk of the Town follows with Stuart Graham between 10am and 1pm. The Hits Hour then follows from 1-2pm followed by Afters with Andy Jackson. DriveTime then begins from 5 until 7pm with John Heald. From 7 until 10pm Matt Colbourne presents the Evening Show. The Late Show from 10pm until 12am is presented by Ian and Belle. On Friday nights, from 7 until 9pm Mark Walmsley presents the Upper Room. Following on, Paul Lane presents Into the Night from 9pm until 12am.
On weekends, Breakfast is presented by Howard and Rebecca from 7 until 10am. After that on Saturday, June Rowlands presents Weekend Break between 10am and 12 midday. Paul Walker then follows with Boundary Backtrack between 12-2pm. Ian and Belle then present Fun and Football between 2 and 5pm. Duncan and Hayley Jo then present Saturday Drive between 5 and 8pm. Steve Caddy then presents Saturday Night in from 8 until 10pm. Steve Watts then presents 90s Night In between 10pm and 12am.
On Sunday morning, following Howard and Rebecca with Weekend Breakfast, Craig Wilkinson presents Newark Carnival 2007 update between 10 and 11am. From 11am until 1pm Andy Jackson presents the Local Football show. From 1 until 3pm Paul Walker takes over. From 3 until 5pm Simon Ellis is in the studio. From 5 until 7pm Craig Wilkinson presents. From 7 until 9pm Dean Anderson presents the Northern Soul show. From 9pm until 12am Steve Watts presents the VIP Lounge (Soulful House Music).
International, National and Local News is on the hour, every hour. The station plays music from the 1970s through to today, along with a large amount of local artists.
The radio station goes back on-air on 5 March 2007 for another 28 days.
