Boston Somersets

The Boston Somersets were an American League baseball club in 1902. They were preceded by the Boston Americans in 1901 and succeeded by the Boston Pilgrims in 1903, and eventually became the Boston Red Sox. (1907)
The Somersets were managed by Hall of Fame third baseman Jimmy Collins, and they finished third in the American League with a record of 77-60. Their home games were played at the Huntington Avenue Grounds.
