From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Boston Braves were a professional ice hockey team in Boston, MA. They were a member of the American Hockey League from 1971 to 1974. They played their home games in the Boston Garden. They set an AHL attendance record that stood for two-plus decades in 1971-72.
The team's name was shared with two former professional sports teams in the same city; the Major League Baseball team Boston Braves, and the National Football League team Boston Braves.
