Bosco Gurin is a small village situated in the southernmost canton of Switzerland (Ticino).
In 2001, there were only 79 inhabitants left.
Bosco Gurin is the only German speaking village in this otherwise Italian-speaking part of Switzerland. It was settled in the course of the medieval Walser migration. Today the Walser German dialect is being abandoned in favour of the Italian language.
