Born to Mack is a 1987 album by Too $hort. This is Too $hort's second major album release . This album was re-released by Jive Records after the success of Life Is...Too $hort. It was originally released in the summer of 1987 by Dangerous Music. It was later re-released by Jive Records in 1988 and 1989. This album came out a year before Too $hort's signing with Jive. After signing with Jive, the first release was Life Is...Too $hort in 1988 which also was re-released in 1989. This album feature sexually explicit lyrics over strong bass lines. Such examples of lyrics could be the very comical Allan Wee track describing the singer's aspiration to put his penis on somebody's passed-out face. It was eventually certified Gold.
