Born is the first album released by the classical crossover string quartet bond. The album was a huge commercial success, reaching no. 1 on the charts of twenty-one countries worldwide. It also stayed in the U.S. Classical Crossover charts for a total of 101 weeks. The album also went Gold in fourteen countries and Platinum in twelve. The album was also no. 1 in the UK Classical charts, but was subsequently removed from these charts for not meeting all the 'rules' of classical music.
