Borgund, Sogn og Fjordane

Borgund is a small village in the western part of Norway, known for its famous stave church called Borgund stave church. The village is situated in the end of the Sognefjord in Lærdal.
Borgund was a separate municipality from 1864 to 1964. The centre of Borgund is called Steinklepp, which has a store, a bank and a school.
