Borgosesia is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Vercelli in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 80 km northeast of Turin and about 45 km north of Vercelli. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 13,755 and an area of 40.6 km².[1]
The municipality of Borgosesia contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Agnona, Bastia, Bettole, Ferruta, Foresto, Guardella, Isolella, Lovario, Plello, Rozzo, Vanzone, Valbusaga, Caneto, Cadegatti, Calco, Cesolo, Caggi, Cartiglia, Pianezza, Plello, Cardolino, Brina, Orlongo, Sella, Pianaccia, and Gianninetta.
Borgosesia borders the following municipalities: Breia, Cellio, Grignasco, Guardabosone, Postua, Quarona, Serravalle Sesia, Valduggia, Varallo Sesia, Vocca.
