Bore Lee

Boris Ivković, better known by his stage name Bore Lee is a Croatian martial arts enthusiast and amateur filmmaker from Sinj.

Shipbuilder by trade and great fan of Bruce Lee, he studied martial arts from the early age. In 1994 he began displaying his skills in short martial arts film recorded on VHS camera. Gradually, those films became underground sensation in his native town, and the shooting of those films on city streets became popular spectacle.

Bore Lee's fame reached Zagreb when the group of three filmmakers - Mario Kovač, Krešimir Pauk and Ivan Ramljak - decided to use his talents in In the Claws of Big Z, low budget martial arts parody that later turned out to be one of the most popular titles in Croatian video stores and cultural phenomenon [citation needed]. In 2005 Bore Lee appeared in the sequel titled Bore Lee: Deadly Sinjs!.

In the mid-2005, Serbian-Montenegin filmmaking company Artikulacija recorded the Bore Lee: The Golden Nunchaku, now in post-production. This is a Bore Lee movie with the highest budget and most professional crew so far. There are, also, Balkan music stars in supporting roles of Golden Nunchaku- Rambo Amadeus and Rade Rapido.
