[edit] Summary

Cover from Last of the Pirates by Bob Noakes (see Radio Caroline for details).

Photo by the author shows Radio Caroline's ship MV Mi Amigo at anchor in international waters off Scheveningen, Netherlands c. 1973. The triangular lattice antenna mast shown here was a replacement for the original tubular mast from the 1960s which had collapsed. The new mast collapsed in turn after only one year and was replaced by a square telescopic mast that survived until the ship's sinking in 1980.
