Boot may refer to:
- Boot, a type of shoe that covers the foot and ankle, and often the shins of the leg
- hence the transitive verb to boot and the substantivation booting mean to kick something or someone, in order to evict ('get the boot' also means be sacked) or to punish (compare slippering)
- As a slang term, booting can refer to vomiting, especially after binge drinking.
- a legal compensation, profit or use, hence the phrase to boot (see bote for origin)
- Boot (village), a small village in Eskdale, Cumbria, in the Lake District of England.
