Bonzai Records is a Belgium-based record label specializing in Trance/Hardtrance.

It was formed in 1992 as a sublabel to Lightning Records, which went bankrupt in March of 2003 and was subsequently replaced by the Banshee Worx label. It was formed by DJ Fly, Yves Deruyter and Franky Jones in the back of record-shop The Blitz in Belgium.

Bonzai developed two sub-labels under the Bonzai umbrella - Bonzai Jumps and Bonzai Trance Progressive specialising in slightly different styles of music to the standard Bonzai label.

A new approach (through the popularity of dance/house-music) was that the releasing labels were more in the picture, which resulted in label-merchandise. Bonzai Records was a good example with the various Bonzai shirts and slipmats.
