Bomberman World is a video game for the Sony PlayStation. It is part of the Bomberman series.

There were once four evil Bombers called the Dark Force Bombers who tryed to bring darkness to the Bomberman world. The ancient ancestors of the Bombermen imprisoned the Dark force Bombers in the Blue Crystal. Millions of years later, Buggler, appearing from another point in the time-space continuum, destroyed the Blue Crystal, thus freeing the villains. The freed bombers became Buggler's minions and conquered the four worlds. It is now up to Bomberman to save the worlds from evil.

[edit] Story Mode

The goal is to complete all four areas of the different Bomber worlds. To complete the areas, you must control Bomberman and set bombs to destroy enemies and obstacles that will lead to the exit. In the fourth area of each world, you will have to defeat a Dark Force Bomber. Once you defeat one, you will receive an Armor with a normal and special attack.

In multiplayer mode, the last one standing is the winner. Set bombs to destroy other bombers.

• Bomberman- the only playable character in story mode. He is the hero that must destroy the Dark Force Bombers.

• Buggler- the main bad guy and last boss in story mode. He freed the Dark Force Bombers from the Blue Crystal.

[edit] Dark Force Bombers

• Earth Bomber- the Dark Force Bomber that conquered the Earth world.

• Cyclone Bomber- the Dark Force Bomber that conquered the Wind world.

• Fire Bomber- the Dark Force Bomber that conquered the Fire world.

• Aqua Bomber- the Dark Force Bomber that conquered the Water world.

[edit] Multiplayer Bombers

• White Bomberman- he is the plain character. When each player selects him, player 1 is white, player 2 is black, player 3 is red, player 4 is blue, and player 5 is green.

• Hero Bomberman- He will begin attacking the minute he finds and opponent. A very offensive warrior bomber.

• Bishop Bomberman- He is always wandering on the screen. Unpredictable character.

• Merchant Bomber- He concentrates on collecting items.

• Witch Bomberman- She does whatever she wants. She will sometimes obtain the Skull on her own.

• Fairy Bomberman- She is relatively quiet but when she is in danger, she will show you her true power.

• Ninja Bomberman- He will use alot of bombs and seal the opponents' techniques.

• Monk Bomberman- He has alot of flashy attacks. He is good at kicking bombs. A martial artist bomber.
