Bolton South East is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. It is strongly inclined to elect Labour MPs.

Following a boundary reorganization in the early 1980s, most of the former Bolton East became part of the new constituency of Bolton South East with effect from the 1983 General Election.

Following their review of parliamentary representation in Greater Manchester, the Boundary Commission for England have recommended the creation of three constituencies to represent Bolton. The electoral wards used in the creation of a modified Bolton South East are:
