Bolshaya Belaya River

The Bolshaya Belaya River (Russian: Больша́я Бе́лая) is a river in Irkutsk Oblast and Buryatia in Russia, a tributary of the Angara River, which flows into the Bratsky Reservoir. Its length is 359 km (223 miles). The area of its basin is 18,000 km² (7,000 sq mi). Principal tributaries are the Urik and the Malaya Belaya Rivers. The Bolshaya Belaya River freezes up in October–November and stays under ice until April–May. There are nephrite and graphite deposits in the Bolshaya Belaya basin.
