Bolsa Chica bicycle path

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Bolsa Chica bicycle path is a mixed-use path that runs adjacent to the sand along the length of Bolsa Chica State Beach down through Huntington City Beach. It is designed for leisurely cruises, and riders will be stopped by the lifeguards and told to slow down for exceeding the 10 mph limit. It is considered by some to be one of the best places to ride in California. [1]

[edit] Future plans

There is a major construction project going on at the south end of the beach where it meets Huntington City Beach. A bridge (or maybe two) that will take PCH over a new inlet channel is being built as part of the wetlands recovery project. The path has been diverted around and is not interrupted by the construction.
